Australian areas

Australian native plants are drawn from regions with similar climate and rainfall to Coffs Harbour. There is an extensive NSW section, and many of the Queensland species have also been shown to thrive here. Frosts are rare in Coffs Harbour, so southern species must be carefully selected. At this time only NSW and Queensland have specifically designated display areas.

Rare and endangered species are planted in the rainforest section as well as beds indicating plants from NSW and Queensland.
